Lovely family hotel ,,,The day time activities team were brilliant with kids and adults ,to be honest with being a couple on our own on a short break I wouldn't choose to go again,,but if I had a young family I wouldn't hesitate

Stayed in Belvedere salou for two weeks. Before we went we were worried after reading a lot of the reviews but then we looked Around and found very mixed reviews so thought give it a go as everyones expectations are very much different.
So first of all hotel itself. Was well kept and clean and was
Much better than we expected for a three star hotel. It even had a gym. In fairness the gym equipment, two exercise bikes, a cross trainer, two benches and a rack of dumbbell's. The equipment was falling apart but useable and the weights were dead on and you could do a decent wee work out with them. There was also an steam room, sauna and small indoor pool (big enough for about ten people to relax in.
Rooms - well rooms were small but manageable two double beds side by side in room and small areas for hanging clothes only thing i would recommend to bring extra hangers with you and a four way adaptor extension lead as there is only a couple of plus in room. Rooms
Where cleaned every day and to be fair couldn't fault rooms as they are just somewhere to put your head down at end of day.
Pool - pool was kept as clean as possible by the staff they cleaned it in the morning and evening and what was checked daily by the pool man. What i did notice was people being sick inside or at the side of pool and not even attempting to clean it and just left it and this meant the pool had to be closed twice during our stay for this reason. Also no rubber rings, blow up beds or balls aloud in pool except for small blow up rings for babies. Ok towels if you leave sun-bed unattended for too long you will get a ticket on your bed and if you dont return within 20 mins your towels will be removed from beds to allow someone else to use them.
Food- food is never to everyones taste but to be fair we found the food ok and even our youngest who would be very fussy was able to eat. Always found something that you could eat. My favourite was the fresh made omelette for breakfast and croissants, lunch was a tuna salad or tuna and pasta (made myself with what was out on the buffet).
Bar - there was a good selection of drinks but didnt do some of the popular cocktails my daughter was looking for strawberry daiquiri but they didn't do them. Then we where drinking schnapps and pineapple juice and they constantly ran out of pineapple juice and schnapps which was frustrating. Or they would say they have none left but the other bar would have it and they would tell you to go to the other bar rather than have it brought over from other bar. This was frustrating.
Entertainment - for most of the first week we attended while it was ok some bits where funnier than others the second week entertainment was exactly the same as the first. I would have thought they would have a teo week schedule to allow for the people who would holiday for two weeks so not to be seeing the exact same act or in house entertainment they seen the week before.
So otherwise had a gd time and Kids where happy but dont think ee could do a two week holiday there again

This was the second time we have stayed in the Belvedere , it is an ideal location for visits to Portaventura which is a 10 - 15 minute walk away , the beach is also a 10 - 15 minute walk away - the fridge and air conditioning in the room was a bonus as it was 85 - 90 everyday - the hotel is kept really clean by the staff and we found the food available in the restaurant to be of a good standard with plenty of choice - we had a problem with the room allocated when we checked in which was quickly sorted by the reception staff the next day .

Rooms nice, food good. Near to bars, shops and beach.
Only problem we found was getting a sun bed around the pool….all sun beds had towels on by 9am but after a few days we realised that the lifeguards do go round checking on sun beds that have towels on but no one there , they leave a note with time on it and give them 20 minutes and if they are not back they do take towels off.
Entertainment in the hotel is very good for the kids but they don’t repeat it much in English. Also the music round pool area was always Spanish.
